What Is Provisions Meal Prep?
Provisions Meal Prep is a meal preparation service offering individually prepared, ready-to-heat and eat meals to members in our local communities. The word “Provisions” is defined as: supply with food, drink, or equipment, especially for a journey. The goal of Provisions is to help people on their individual health journeys achieve their goals by being prepared with high quality, delicious and nutritious meals. We offer drive thru or curbside pickup at our Jonesboro location, and we have free in town home or workplace delivery available. Our meals are prepared fresh to order by local and professional chef Greg Vance.
How It Works
1. Meet Our Coach!
A consultation with our coach is not required to place orders, but we realize many people are looking for assistance and direction with meal planning based on their activity level. Our wellness coach, Jessica Robinson, is trained to walk you through that process and help you build a menu to fit your needs.
2. Pick Your Meals
Click “Start Now” to begin and you will be taken to our ordering platform where you can review menu options and add items to your cart before being prompted to a quick and easy online checkout. You must order a minimum of two meals.
3. Schedule Pickup or Delivery
Orders can be picked up or delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays. During our public launch phase, our delivery slots are limited to 1-3pm and in town delivery is free to your home or workplace. Pickup will occur at Southern Pharmacy in Jonesboro, and you can stop in our drive thru or park in our curbside spot and a member from the Care Team will bring your order out to you.
4. Heat and Eat
Each meal is made fresh and temperature controlled until you pick up or have them delivered. Each meal comes in a microwaveable container labeled with heating instructions, ingredients and nutrition facts.
Why Provisions Meal Prep?
At Southern Pharmacy, patient wellness is at the heart of everything we do. We believe one of the keys to overall wellness includes maintaining a well balanced diet based on your needs and goals. We are locally owned and operated and are happy to be able to provide customized service to our patients with a clinical background. We don’t require a wellness consultation to place a Provisions order, but we do offer this service with our wellness coach if you’re looking for some direction and guidance in meal planning.
In addition to our meal prep service, we are also an authorized Ideal Protein Clinic and we offer free patient consultations for a variety of services including: blood pressure and glucose testing, flu and strep testing, Care Pack multi dose packaging, Medicare Part D and more.
